About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Painter/Foreman with extensive knowledge of prep work and painting techniques to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a crew of painters, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. The ideal candidate must be able to brush and roll, cut a straight line, and use a spray pump correctly. Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, have a clean-cut appearance, and be drug-free. The candidate must also have their own hand tools and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
Lead a crew of painters and oversee all aspects of the project
Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality
Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, and filling
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray pumps
Cut a straight line and ensure that all work is neat and tidy
Keep jobs on track and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Conduct site inspections and prepare reports as required
Identify and manage project risks
Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
